Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

BMore Mobile Physical Therapy is considered an 'out-of-network' provider with all insurance companies. Therefore, although payment is required at the time of service, a percentage of your out-of-pocket expenses will most likely be reimbursed to you directly by your insurance carrier. payment plans are also available and can be discussed in your free consultation session. We will help facilitate this reimbursement process by providing you with a claim form or a 'super-bill' that you can then submit to your insurance company. We recommend that you contact your insurance company in advance to find out what your out-of-network benefits are.

What types of sessions are available?

In person services provided will occur at the clinic. Mobile PT visits are also available at your requested location limited to Baltimore City and County, for an additional fee. Each visit includes 60-90 minutes of one on one time with the therapist.

Virtual visits are also available for 30-60 minutes which allows you to get efficient and effective treatments in the safety and comfort of your home. Patients in Maryland, DC, and Virginia are welcome.

Please contact Bmore Mobile PT to further discuss session cost as well as availability for services. We look forward to serving your needs.

Do I need a referral?

Based on the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) website all 50 states and the District of Columbia have approved direct access to physical therapists, meaning you do not need to go to a doctor first when you are seeking a licensed physical therapy. However, some insurance policies can require a referral, so be sure to check your health care coverage.

What should I bring with me to my first appointment?

Please bring completed intake forms, loose-fitting shorts, a tee shirt, a sports bra/tank top for our female patients.  It is sometimes helpful to bring a list of questions you may have been thinking about prior to your first visit.

What can I expect from the initial evaluation?

The initial evaluation is consistent with getting to know your present and past medical history that have led to your current symptoms.  I will be assessing your range of motion, strength, joint mobility, stability, balance and sometimes perform special tests to provide a proper diagnosis for your current condition. We will talk about your specific goals and come up with a plan of care together that will help you reach those goals. The remainder of your initial visit depending on time will be spent in a treatment so that we can start your healing process and learn how your body responds to physical therapy. We will discuss your prognosis and how many sessions of therapy you are going to need.
